Mrs. Tolles began teaching in the Fall of 2004, and has taught in Davidson County as well as the Atlanta Area. Most of her years teaching, she has taught in the Archdale Trinity Area of Randolph County. She has taught all grade levels K-12 over her time in education. While under her direction students have performed in Washington DC, Walt Disney World, and in competitions across the state receiving superior ratings and first place finishes in multiple divisions. Students she has taught have been selected for All-County, All-District, All-Region and All-American ensembles. She is a member of the National Association of Music Educators and has served as the District 8 President for North Carolina Music Educator's Association in the past. She continually advocates for students and strives to grow as a teacher and musician.
Mrs. Tolles is originally from Davidson County and a graduate of East Davidson High School. She currently lives in Oak Ridge NC with her son and husband. Her primary instrument is Oboe and enjoys playing for local community events. In addition to performing, her other hobbies include running, camping, and attending music concerts.
