Wheatmore Middle School Core Values
RELATIONSHIPS
As we begin the journey together as Wheatmore Middle School, our primary focus will be building positive relationships with our students, with each other, and with the Wheatmore community - laying a solid foundation of positive, engaging relationships with our WMS students. AT WMS we will follow the RCSS motto of "Students first in all we do," we want to work to ensure that all students have a positive relationship with at least one adult in our building.
EXCELLENCE
One of our goals as a school will include the expectations of excellence from both staff and students. We will work towards this goal through Engagement, Accountability, and Teamwork. All teachers will be expected to provide engaging instruction for students on a daily basis. We will use instruction time wisely and utilize every minute we have with students. Teachers will also provide high expectations and accountability for all students. Working together as a Wheatmore Warrior team will help us achieve excellence in all that we do.
INTEGRITY
We will promote integrity among our students and staff by encouraging thoughtful, honest decision-making, following directions, and maintaining accountability even through difficult situations. Wheatmore Warriors will promote valor, or great courage, daily.
UNITY
The relationships we create with our students and staff members, along with our expectation of excellence and integrity in all that we do, will promote unity at Wheatmore Middle. Modeling a united front among staff will show our students that we all work together for the common good.
The vision of Wheatmore Middle School is to maximize educational opportunities for every student, based on our beliefs that:

Mission
The mission of Wheatmore Middle School is to maximize educational opportunities for every student by focusing on continuous improvement and having high expectations for students and staff while preparing students for multiple options to be competitive in a diverse 21st Century global society.
